FANDOM is an open source platform for data mining Wikipedia articles that are posted by international user contributors. Because these platforms are free, it provides a bureau of information that requires sifting, analysis and the posting of key information that can readily be viewed by operatives. Sites called "Wiki" or "wikia" have gained the perception of its contents to be encyclopedic.

In 2019, Wikia effectively changed its name to "FANDOM", so that pertinent information can be viewed on this platform without scrutiny from the subjects of other countries. FANDOM is considered fan-based and content is easily dismissed. This provides flexibility for sensitive and even top secret information to be displayed, out in the open, without anyone questioning the contents' legitimacy.
